ECD’s consulting activity started in 1993 in the electrical sector involved in a wide project financed by Italian National Research Council (CNR) in co-operation with the University of Pavia.

ECD has participated and is participating in a large number of R&D projects, mainly with different industrial national and international partners, such as ABB, Pirelli, Dupont USA, Tesar, AEM Milan, ENEL, Cesi, Cadafe Venezuela. ECD has participated and is participating in several projects promoted by the European Commission.
